Castle Rock Police have recovered several items believed to have been taken during vehicle break-ins sometime in June in The Meadows, Red Hawk and Downtown areas.

Officers are having a bit of trouble locating the owners of the items, because it seems not all the break-ins were reported to police.

The Town would like to remind residents that it is important to report break-ins – both to assist with the return of property and to help police keep track of such incidents and plan enforcement accordingly.

In this case, police have several items – stereo faceplates, GPS units, cell phones, digital cameras and more – that are waiting to be claimed.

If your vehicle was broken into and you did not report it, or if you believe any of the recovered items might be yours, call the Police Department, 303-663-6100.
