Along with first responders, several drivers stopped to help those involved in a single-car crash along Plum Creek Parkway in Castle Rock just before 1 p.m. today.
Plum Creek Parkway is closed, between Interstate 25 and Coachline Road, as Castle Rock Police investigate the accident. Access to the main entrance of the MAC may be limited, and there is no timeframe yet for when the road will be open again. (Watch Facebook.com/CRgov for current information.)
Four people – three children and one adult driver – were in the passenger vehicle it went off the road and rolled over, just west of I-25. The car was headed west.
One passenger, a child, was transported by air. The other three – one adult and two children – were transported by ambulance. Their conditions are unknown at this time, and family will be notified before any additional information about the victims is released.
Several citizens also stopped to help the family, in addition to emergency response from Castle Rock Fire and Rescue, Castle Rock Police and Colorado State Patrol.
