Notice is hereby given that Martinez Real Estate Company, LLC has made application for the Annexation, A Planned Development Plan and Planned Development Zoning Regulations for Alexander Place. The 8.36-acre property is located at the eastern terminus of Alexander Place, adjacent to the Montana Vista Office Building, and north of the Echo Ridge at Metzler Ranch Apartments. The property is legally described as a parcel of land lying in the south half of the south half of the north half of Section 26, Township 7 South, Range 67 West of the 6th Principal Meridian, County of Douglas, State of Colorado.
The proposed annexation and zoning would allow development of a two phase senior housing continuum of care development. The first phase will consist of 26 for lease dwelling units (12 duplexes and two single family residences) and a 63-unit senior living apartment building. The second phase would be a 36 bed assisted living/memory care facility. The intent of the project is to offer an “age in place” option for seniors.
Public hearings before the Planning Commission will be held at 6 p.m. March 12, 2020, and the public hearing before Town Council will be held April 7, 2020 and April 21, 2020. Both hearings will be held at the Castle Rock Town Hall, 100 N. Wilcox Street, second floor Town Council Chambers, Castle Rock, Colorado 80104. All interested persons are invited to attend the public hearings.
