Rock Rec: Athletic Camps
These camps are designed for boys and girls ages 5-15 and will provide campers with an opportunity to learn a different sport each week. This camp is great for both kids who are interested in a full week of activities in one specific sport and kids who are looking to learn a new sport.
Sports include basketball, volleyball, soccer and flag football. Shin guards and field / court footwear is recommended. Two types of athletic camps are offered:
- Full day - 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Half day - 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Before and after care is available for $5 per hour, per visit.
Beginner and Progressive Fencing (ages 7-18)
Participants will be introduced to the history of fencing, weapons, target areas and fencing technique. This unique sport teaches competition, respect and self-discipline in a safe and fun environment. All necessary equipment provided.
Fee: $120 ($132 nonresident)
Gymsters (ages 24 mos.-3 years)
In addition to having fun with structured games, fascinating adventures, and pre-gymnastics, our Gymsters learn beginning sports skills, gain fine and gross motor proficiency, and strengthen manipulative skills. Parent participation is required.
Mighty Mites (ages 3-5)
Strength, flexibility and agility are increased as teachers introduce gymnastic skills. Safe spotting techniques and communication build self-esteem and confidence. Relays, complex games and beginning sports skills lead to increased strength, enhanced motor ability and improved hand-eye coordination.
Waddlers (ages 12-23 months)
Introduces balancing, tumbling, hanging and agility skills, which help children develop a love of physical activity and pride in their achievements.

Skyhawks provides a safe, fun and non-competitive environment to teach sports to kids ages 4 to 14. The programs are designed to give kid a positive introduction into sports and ensure they walk away with a smile on their face. The knowledgeable and patient staff uses a variety of games and activities to give each athlete an overview of the sport, while building valuable skills.

Gear to bring
Appropriate clothing, gym shoes and sunscreen of the program is outside. For programs over four hours, please bring a lunch, snack and water bottle. For programs four hours or less, please bring two snacks and a water bottle.
A T-shirt, sport-specific item and merit award are included in purchase.

Soccer Buddies (ages 15 months-12 years)
Soccer Buddies goes beyond just teaching kids athletic and soccer skills. Our expert coaches use soccer as a tool to teach confidence, perseverance and teamwork – core values that will help your child thrive in any situation. We design our classes to provide age appropriate and fun learning opportunities for kids ages 15 months to 12 years old. Classes are split into appropriate age groups:
- Koalas 15 months-3 years
- Bears 3-4 years
- Polar Bears 5-6 years
- Polar Bears 7-8 years
- Polar Bears 9-12 years
Classes run year round – open enrollment at any time: 12-week session is $188 or 3 payments of $65. Free trial available.

Beginner and Advanced Strider Classes (ages 2-6)
The simplicity of Strider bikes allows children to concentrate on the fundamental skills of balancing, leaning and steering while propelling the bike in a natural way. Strider bikes provide a safe, smooth and natural transition to a pedal bike. Bikes are provided and helmets are recommended. Participants riding on the advanced trail rides must have a fitted helmet. Limited availability due to low class ratio.
Fee: $35 ($50 nonresident)
SuperTots Sports Academy
Since 2002, SuperTots has engaged kids, ages 2 to 5, in physical activity in a non-competitive environment, that is safe and fun above all else. SuperTots knows kids are hardwired to learn through play and need to devote time and energy to recreation activities. For that reason, these classes are designed to be engaging, skill-building curriculum in which “tots” learn through a series of fun and beneficial games. They will acquire athletic skills and fitness but also develop an interest and love of sports.

- HoopsterTots (Basketball) - classes focus on building fitness and muscle coordination, while also learning key basketball fundamentals like dribbling, shot technique, passing and teamwork.
- BaseballTots - classes focus on fine and gross motor skills as well as body control. We teach all the baseball basics, such as throwing, catching, hitting and running control.
- Volleytots - classes focus highly on gross motor skills, agility, reaction, and teamwork, while teaching basic volleyball skills like bumping, setting and serving.
- 1stDownTots (football) - a development program that uses a variety of fun games to engage kids while teaching the sport of football. The goal is to build fitness, muscle coordination, football fundamentals and create a love of the game.
