Watering Schedule

Residential

Water is a limited resource in our dry climate and watering schedules has been a proven method for conservation, efficient irrigation and demand management. Using water wisely not only saves you money, but it’s the right thing to do.

Castle Rock Water’s mandatory summer watering guidelines are in effect May 1 through Sept. 30

Residential watering is permitted every third day before 8 a.m. or after 8 p.m. on a designated watering day. All water customers are assigned a square, circle, or diamond, identified by the last number of their street address. The symbol identifies their prescribed watering days.

Certain streets in Founders Village follow a different schedule and residents are notified each year if this schedule affects their watering day.

Failure to follow the mandatory watering schedules or incurring water waste can result in a watering violation.

This schedule is similar to what is being followed by residential customers and will help Castle Rock Water manage peak demand during irrigation season.

Watering schedules are in effect May 1 through Sept. 30.

Watering hours are 10 p.m. through 6 a.m.
