Adaptive Recreation

Castle Rock's Adaptive Recreation Program is designed to enhance the quality of life for individuals with disabilities through participation in adapted programming. These programs will help expand participants health and wellness, self-esteem, and independence. They'll also develop relationships through compassion, kindness, and service to others.

Information on our programs is available on the Adaptive Recreation registration page.

The Adaptive Recreation program also partners with our race and fitness divisions to bring two amazing fundraising events; Climb4Change in April and the Glow Dance Party in September. The purpose of these events is to raise funding for the Town’s Adaptive Recreation program.

Night to Shine

  1. We were honored to help host the Night to Shine event (prom for individuals with special needs) on Friday, Feb.7, 2020 in partnership with Castle Oaks Church and the Wellspring Community.  This was the first time the dance was ever been held in Castle Rock - serving many of our families and Adaptive Recreation participants in their hometown! Plus, we received a $6,500 grant from the Tim Tebow Foundation to help pay for this event.

Watch the video to see why we are so excited about this event!
